Hey everyone, so there's a lot of things to talk about in the coming days with the idea of me streaming full time. There's a lot of things for me to figure out in the coming weeks and months if this really does take off and I stick with it. So, let's discuss some of those? This is a long one, I know.

TL;DR is: I am discussing my schedule plans and asking for support in whatever way you can give, whether it is a boost, a follow, a subscription, a view, literally anything. If you are against this or choose not to support me, that is okay too.

Streaming schedule?

As of right now, my plans are something along the lines of Monday-Thursday 11AM-4PM Central Time. These are subject to change over time, but this is the schedule I plan to start with on Monday. Additionally, on nights where I'm struggling to sleep and/or just want more stream time, I may additionally choose to add another stream after my partner falls asleep. I chose this schedule largely based around her working hours and days off, as well as knowing my own struggles with keeping a super strict schedule that starts early. 11AM isn't an early start, so it should be easier to stick to with it being the major thing of my day.

How are you going to do this?

Well, ideally I'll just stream and talk and play the games. But uh, the technical side of things could get interesting. I am a vtuber/pngtuber and often have involved setups. This time around would be no different, and may be my most involved setup yet as I am testing the waters this coming weekend with a potential dual-PC streaming setup using my own hardware and possibly hardware lent to me from my partner, though we have to talk through those details still.

What kind of content?

A variety! Seriously, I'm a variety streamer. I largely stick to first person games but I'm down to at least try the vast majority of things. I'm not good at video games by any means, but I enjoy them and streaming is a way for me to not only share things with denizens of the internet but also a way for me to make connections with people. I'm not against trying most types of games, but expect that a lot of retro and retro inspired FPS will be played. My plans for the first streams are to work my way through DavidXNewton's RAMP (Rabbit's All Mappers Project) from 2021 and potentially its sequels. I also may or may not do some map development and zscript development stuff on stream, if I get back into mapping for Doom and making custom mods.

Finances

This is where things are currently complicated. I'm unemployed. I am kind of relying on trying to push for streaming to get me at least some kind of income, but I'm not expecting it solely to be successful. So, this is where I kind of need to rely on the good will and kindness of people here. I am still job seeking, I am still trying to get myself established in the new city I moved to, but I am running critically low on funds and while my partner has a decent income I also need to contribute to what funds we have available, as well as having debts of my own I need to pay on.

What do you, the supporter, get?

Well, you get to make the day of an early 30s trans girl who is trying to establish a better life just that tiny bit better. Unfortunately, I really don't have a service to offer beyond just doing the streams. I'm not an artist, I'm not a musician, I am really just someone who wants to make something she's aspired to do for half her life happen. Just someone who wants to be able to live doing what she loves. You will have my eternal gratefulness, and you will get to see me streaming regularly. Additionally, projects that I conceive of and work on during stream will be made available in places where viewers and supporters can access them first (i.e. Ko-Fi, Discord, similar)

Additionally, I am someone who enjoys tinkering. Odds are, I'm going to be slowly but surely establishing more community based things over time. I don't expect these things to be perfect, and I don't want to over promise anything, but it's almost inevitable that I wind up setting up silly things that friends and viewers can interact with off stream together.

Безусловно, тема обхода ограничений изнутри страны сейчас актуальна. Но что делать, если нужно открыть сайты, которые заблокировали пул IP-адресов из РФ? Например, было интересно создать аналог DNS‑сервера вроде comss, который открывает доступ к заблокированным AI, игровым серверам и тому подобному, с чем не смогут помочь обходы DPI (Возможно, эксперты напишут замечания в комментариях). Один из возможных способов, который получилось реализовать у меня, представлен ниже. Нам понадобится VPS в локации, через которую мы хотим быть видимы для нужных нам сервисов. Для примера можно вспомнить Twitch, который заблокировал доступ к просмотру стримов в качестве 1080p и 1440p для пользователей из РФ. Идём на страницу справки по бета‑тестированию качества 2k на Twitch и смотрим регионы, в которых оно доступно.
