U.S. media report that an Afghan national, Muhammad Dawood Alkozai, has been arrested in Texas on terrorism charges after a TikTok video in which he claimed he was building a bomb for an attack in Fort Worth.
The broader livestream shows he was provoked during an argument about his Afghan identity, with some Farsi-speaking diaspora denying they were ‘Afghan’. Agitated, he made impulsive threats without mentioning any concrete plan or capability. His remarks were recorded and later circulated by the same individuals who had provoked him during the livestream.
