@ai6yr When I opened the app Wednesday evening, the message shown is what I saw. You could not access content without agreeing to the changes. I refuse to grant access to anything so I deactivated my account.
If you choose to keep your acct active, it's imperative that you change your phone settings and that may not be enough because they are liars.
I have requested a download of my content (I've never posted a video), but the message states it will take several days

There's a huge amount of F.U.D.¹ being spread right now about the updates to #TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
I'm not saying they're great. I'm not saying the updates didn't make them worse. I'm saying I don't think they've been made _as_ worse as people are screaming about, and a lot of what people are saying is misinformed nonsense.
Maybe don't boost ignorant shit just because it confirms your priors.
