Trump’s #TikTok deal is a repackage of the arrangement that Congress rejected as being too insecure to #US national security.
In addition, it makes a US company (or companies) dependent upon #China for the licensing (IP) rights to the copied algorithm, and the leasing of that algorithm for an indefinite time (until the #USA somehow replicates it).
