Die Landesanstalt für Medien NRW hat Ende 2023 #TikTok-Videos zu #Challenges anaylsiert. Ein paar Ergebnisse für euch:

🎯 Mehrheitlich waren es harmlose Challenges
🎯 Videos mit negativen Challenges hatten keine größere Reichweite als andere
🎯 Inhalte, die laut Jugendmedienschutz-SV unzulässig sind, kamen selten vor
🎯 Wenn TikTok bei einer Challenge nicht eingreift, können innerhalb kürzester Zeit >100 Videos entstehen, z.B. #HotChipChallenge
🎯 #Kinder & #Jugendliche waren nur selten die, die Challenge durchgeführt haben, Mehrheit waren Erwachsene (49%)

Ein Fazit: "Ein gravierenderes Problem könnte nicht so sehr in der Nachahmung [...] durch Minderjährige liegen, sondern eher darin, dass (junge) Erwachsene versuchen, ihre Popularität und Reichweite zu erhöhen, indem sie auf aktuelle Trends aufspringen, einschließlich negativer Challenges [...], und diese als spaßige Freizeitbeschäftigung ihrer potenziell jungen Zuschauerschaft vorführen."

TikTok is the ICE of social media. Invented charges, no due process. They took my account out when I hadn't received a violation for months. They invented false community guidelines violations against me when I criticized Trump and expressed antifascist sentiments that got through to people. You put in work to build a following of thousands of people and one corrupt MAGA moderator kiboshes the whole operation. Fuck TikTok. I'm never logging in there again.

Ich bereite mal wieder was vor. Gerade wühle ich mich durch die diversen #TikTok-Challenges und Pranks...
Was es alles gibt...

Am absolut verstörendsten finde ich dennoch #Challenges oder #Pranks, die #Eltern an ihren Kindern durchführen 🤯 .

Zum Beispiel gibt es da die #EggCrackChallenge, bei der Eltern offenbar random ihren Kindern rohe Eier auf die Stirn schlagen und das filmen. Diese Eltern scheuen nicht davor zurück, ihre Kinder online bloßzustellen.

Richtig krass wird es beim sogenannten #NutellaPrank. Ein Elternteil sitzt auf der Toilette und bittet ein kleines Kind um eine Rolle Toilettenpapier. Wenn das Kind das bringt, wird "aus Versehen" etwas Nutella auf die Hand des Kindes geschmiert. Das Kind denkt natürlich, es seien Fäkalien und schreit los oder ekelt sich brutal und würgt. Die Eltern lachen und filmen das.

Ich bringe viel Verständnis für Eltern mit - aber: Was stimmt mit solchen Leuten nicht?!
