Same as for other medias or "persuasion funnels", there is a snowball effect like with GAFAM (you all see your friend, town, entreprise posting there BECAUSE 'this is where their target audience is")

Thus why refusing to use it is helping making the world better. Don't give them a good target audience in first place.
