I woke up this morning to learn that I was the main character on Threads. Efforts to explain the context of my offending post resulted in more people taking umbrage. So I've deleted Threads from my phone. Inevitably, I say something that pisses everyone off. That's obviously on me. This was a failed lunge at irony. On the other hand, the steely determination of people to only see the worst in people is a ridiculous waste of time. So fuck Threads. For now at least.

At long last my OG #Nest #thermostat will very soon become unmanageable and won’t receive updates from the mother ship. Considering it’s older than my 12 year old, it’s had a marvelous run… and I avoided ever having to Google it.

So now I’m looking for a thermostat that can do #Matter, #Threads, and #AppleHome. Any suggestions based on experience?
