@herr_irrtum @sam answering to, or better somewhere in the sudden middle of #threads is another Problem of fragmentation of continuous content in the Fedi. Its on many reasons not a nice thing to recipe. Discontinued fragments and also the answers itself, can destroy continuous thoughts.
But if I thing about ist: real more directional conversation is the whole idea of social media that's one of the nice things in the fedi: Everybody can react on all posts. That's conversation versus one way street statements, known with websites, blogs, and other traditional media.

Wow, sounds like the beginnings of the same strategy that almost killed news blogs. If #TechCrunch is only willing to repeat #Meta’s press releases, and not contextualize the claims with Meta’s past behavior, what’s the point of reporting?

Ja, schön, aber warum sehe ich dann auch die ungelisteten Teile in meiner regulären Timeline?
