notify you if you are offline or app is not working:
- Android: Internet Connection Alert, WiFi Monitor
- MacOS: Little Snitch, iStat Menus
- Tasker (for Android) or Automator (for macOS)

IceCat, Waterfox, LibreWolf have internal support for
proxy configuration. This may be required when you
don't trust your PC and don't want to give access to
the Internet only to browser.
- Mozilla Firefox have bug

I found a bug in Telegram: Telegram Desktop always
require direct the Internet connection, even when you
set Advanced->Connection type->Use proxy for calls.

About browsers:
- Firefox download binary blobs from
Mozilla at runtime if not compiled with openh264
