It's true. It's mainly bullshit on #socialmedia instead of #medicine.
How about asking a doctor before shoving things in your ear (which they will likely warn you against)?
The sound stuff? Go nuts. No self harm. There is some relaxing stuff i listen to that claims a reset (i think it's bs), but it is relaxing music.
Use that thing between your ears without attempting to touch it. 🤣

I stopped using Whatsapp some days ago and I'm feeling some sort of withdrawal effects.
Until now the most difficult part was coping with the illusion that someone might be asking you something important and you're not responding. (Maybe FOMO?).
But today I was going to uninstall the app, I long pressed the icon and a list of people appeared. A horrible feeling of strong anxiety kicked in. That was the moment I knew the app was making me worse than I thought.
