If you choose to dwell on platforms steeped in hatred & stained by the exploitation of children, such as FaceBook & X, the stain does not stop at their gates. Every click, every scroll, every moment of attention becomes quiet consent. To remain is to nourish what is vile. These platforms persist because they are used. Participation is support, & support makes you complicit in what they allow to flourish.

Latest moves by PolyMarket are to begin offering "attention markets" aka users can take a position - otherwise know as a bet - on new metrics of "mindshare" (how much something is being talked about in social media) and "sentiment" (is this talk positive or negative).
Examples: Will Anthropic’s mindshare be higher than OpenAI next month? or Will sentiment on Elon Musk go up this month?
