I think we should notice the difference between #socialmedia and #socialnetworking. The Fediverse is the place for social networking, and that means a different kind of use that has not been fully developed or supported. Knowledge institutions like universities, research institutions, libraries, archives and museums should step up to this opportunity of developing a different kind of organIc presence in the digital environment.
