The difference between #US and #China is quite stark - the former has companies obsessed with using #AI to produce slop that is killing the creative professions. The latter is using AI for doing grunt work and hopefully, freeing the rest to be creative. Look at the respective societal priorities. Former spent the last 25 years fighting wars, creating #socialmedia serving ads destroying democracies. The latter pulled 100s of M out of poverty, fed/housed/educated them.
