Government censorship has many benefits for the fascists. Limits the exchange of ideas. limits the capacity to challenge the veracity of school curriculums, and monitors the opinions and activities of people generally.
With so much wrong happening in the world today, has our government squandered an opportunity to make things better.

Ein #Gesetz gegen verbale #Belästigungen und #Pöbeleien würde den Betroffenen auf jeden Fall eine bessere rechtliche Sicherheit und #Rückenstärkung im Falle einer #Anzeige geben. Auch hier gilt: "Die #Scham muss die Seite wechseln" und solches #Verhalten #gesellschaftlich und #sozial ächten - auch in #SocialMedia. Denn die #Verrohung nimmt täglich zu. Da braucht es härtere #Regeln.

Das Gesetz über digitale Dienste sieht generell vor, dass Betreiber von großen Online-Plattformen Gebühren an der finanziellen Last ihrer eigenen Kontrolle nach dem Verursacherprinzip beteiligt werden.
Die max Summe: bis zu 0,05 Prozent des weltweiten Jahresumsatzes. Das ergibt für die Facebook- und Instagram-Mutter Meta für 2024: 11 Millionen Euro.
