I've recently faced a concentrated wave of communal online abuse and xenophobic coercion on TikTok after simply questioning the ethics of forcing religious beliefs, and the responses—over 200 of them—became undeniable proof of the coercion, ableism, and identity supremacy that undermines true religious freedom in Malaysia. Please don't worry, as I've taken strong steps for self-care by blocking the noise and I'm using this experience as critical evidence for our activism. I wanted to flag this serious pattern to the group because this harassment validates our concerns that the erosion of MA63 principles and Borneo State identity is often intertwined with these aggressive attempts to enforce a single narrative of religious and ethnic control.
