Das ist die Gewerkschaft der Journalist:innen, also jener Menschen, die in den Medien arbeiten und uns im Idealfall mit Informationen versorgen. Die den Pressekodex mit entwickelt und sich verpflichtet haben, ihn zu beachten. Der Pressekodex besteht aus 16 Oberpunkten, die Top 3 lauten:
- Wahrhaftigkeit und Achtung der Menschenwürde
- Sorgfalt
- Richtigstellung
- …
Also dieser DJV, der mit dem selbst auferlegten Pressekodex, also der veröffentlicht am 12. Januar eine Pressemitteilung mit einer Falschmeldung. Wahrscheinlich, weil man nur die erfundenen Meldungen der rechtspopulistischen Schleudern zum Statement von Daniel Günther zum Jugendmedienschutz gelesen und für bare Münze genommen hat. (Günthers Forderung eines Social-Media-Verbot für Kinder und Jugendliche wurde durch bösartiges Zusammenschneiden der Filmaufnahme so manipuliert, dass daraus eine Zensurforderung für Nachrichtenportale geworden ist).

Hier geht es zu der nicht richtiggestellten Pressemitteilung DJV, die sich auf eine Äußerung Günthers bezieht, die der nie getätigt hat: Schock über Zensurforderung.
Statt einer Richtigstellung hat der DJV am Folgetag eine scheinheilige Pressemitteilung veröffentlicht, in der sich deren Vorsitzender zitieren lässt:
Der DJV-Vorsitzende betont in dem Zusammenhang die Notwendigkeit, entschieden gegen Desinformation, Hass und Drohungen insbesondere in Social Media vorzugehen. „Da stehen wir voll und ganz an der Seite von Daniel Günther.“
