Macron annonce une procédure accélérée à l'Assemblée pour faire passer la loi visant à interdire les réseaux sociaux aux moins de 15 ans. Le texte a été réécrit après avoir été démoli par le Conseil d’Etat, qui le jugeait non conforme au droit européen, comme la loi de 2023. "Tout ça parce que le président est en guerre avec Attal, c'est pathétique", soupire un député macroniste. C'est Laure Miller, une élue Horizons, qui va porter le texte.

If you're in the US and use #TikTok, it has now been taken over. As part of the new joint venture, tech giant Oracle (lead by Trump ally Larry Ellison), UAE-based (Abu Dhabi) MGX and tech investment firm Silver Lake will each own a 15% take.

Under the deal, the newly formed U.S. entity will 'retrain' TikTok’s algorithm using data from American users, while Oracle (Larry Ellison) will oversee the storage and security of that data.

The latest update to terms and services will now collect your information when you interact on the platform;

- Tracks your citizenship/immigration status
- Religious beliefs
- Mental and physical health diagnosis
- Your race
- If you're trans or non-binary
- Sexual preferences, and more.

Also note that some folk are saying they've been unable to delete their accounts despite multiple attempts.

TikTok are pulling all political videos stateside, it's full on censorship.

It is clear Trump now has another platform, after X , to control people in the US and feed them with disinformation. They supplement each other nicely with regard to age groups etc. If FB, WhatsApp, LinkedIn also tighten their "moderation" with regard to anti-trump sentiments, an Orwellian picture emerges.

It's good to see that the European Commission is launching an investigation against X under the DSA.

X is a platform that is not addressing sytemic risks and spread of illegal content, includng child abuse materials and sexual images. Due to this, the platform should be investigated and punished accordingly as it is clear that X intentionally allowed the dissemination and generation of fake sexual images of women and children.
