Why do #overlays suck in React?
I haven't thought about overlays recently, but @karlgroves of AFixt has enumerated the technical reasons that cause overlays to fail in popular JavaScript frameworks like React.
I found the details super interesting and persuasive.
Not that I needed additional convincing: when overlays aren't failing directly, their owners are suing leaders in the accessibility community and misleading their clients.
