This is one of my cognitive dissonances:
I don't like react and single page apps.
Just look at the reverb.com listing pages for why.
The page clearly is some kind of AJAX react business.
It loads twice basically each time you go to the next
page. The promise of efficiency and speed is just never
true (now it's typescript and react etc.)
BUT BUT!
If the medium is only every going to be handheld panel
devices using commercial and predatory distribution
models... (i.e. android and iphone phones)
If that is true then react IS A GOOD.
Specifically the functional part written in javascript
because typescript is a charade. (like python w/types
is)
TLDR: I can't stand the idea of react, but I like
a specific style of minimal react page as a UI
technique in hostile territory.
