Of note, I wasn't familiar with heatset inserts and how they worked. Thankfully a quick watch of a video on #YouTube got me pointed in the right direction. I'm also quite thankful I already own a soldering iron! Hopefully I did this correctly! 🤣

I started putting the first "module" together. The heatset inserts have been installed into the case along with the #RaspberryPi. Tomorrow I'll work on soldering the pin header to the OLED display and connecting it to the Pi. If I have time I'll work on putting together the other "modules" as well!

I just came across this Kickstarter project from Argon Forty (the guys who makes those neat #RaspberryPi cases):
It's called the ONE UP, a 14" open source laptop powered by the #RaspberryPiCM5 with 16GB RAM and weighs about 300g. I wonder what the price point is and I didn't know their HQ is in Hong Kong :P

I keep going deeper down this copyparty rabbithole. I have this sense that there must be a simpler way to stay within Copyparty, not needing #VLC and #SMB (in addition to copyparty). Basically, vids saved with #yt-dlp, will by default save the vids in .webm with av1 encoding. Which #Apple devices disdain (requiring, say, #VLC to save the day). Yes, yt-dlp can be asked to save in a different video format, but I can't be arsed to fiddle with any other command line options, except the resolution. And I don't want to wait for a re-encoding step, since I run yt-dlp on a #RaspberryPi, which will do such re-encoding slowly.
An easier approach is to do the video downloading in #NewPipe on #Android, not yt-dlp. It saves the vids in .mp4 with "sensible" H.264 - which then plays on all devices, just in the web browser, including on my #iPad. The upload into my #RaspberryPi using #copyparty is blazing fast from my phone: ~80MB/sec over wifi. Copyparty's so-called "up2k", for such uploading, is awesome! This is over Wifi 6 (using an inexpensive #OpenWRT router) - not even Wifi 7.

By the end of today u should have all the parts necessary for my 1U #RaspberryPi rack mounted #Kubernetes cluster. The only bits missing around the 5015 blower fans which come tomorrow and three of the rack modules which are printing right now.
I almost ordered four of them, not realizing it was four fans in each pack 
I'm excited to get it all put together!
