hab den alten Acer Laptop vom Kind auseinander geschraubt, einfach so weil es ging. Fühl mich rebellisch. Nur: was mach ich jetzt damit? Weiter zerlegen? Schrotten? Einzelteile-Kleinanzeigen? den ganzen Krams irgendwie mit den vorhandenen Geräten (Raspi oder so) verbinden? Oder alles #elektroschrott ?

Having learned about "memtester" for the #RaspberryPi, I installed it on my 5 Pis with #ansible, and now I'm doing tests on a couple, which I have some stability suspicion of.

My curiosity surrounding the #RaspberryPi Compute Module 0 got the better of me, so I ordered the EDATEC CM0NANO to see it with my own eyes..

Perfect home lab machine as I start a move away from #RaspberryPi for multi-workload devices… but goes out of stock just when I’m ready to purchase 😔

@gabrielesvelto TIL there's a userland memory tester suitable for the #RaspberryPi
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install memtester
sudo memtester 500 10
^ 500 change to something sensible
10 is number of loops

I set up a #raspberrypi today with a 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS Lite and they really mean “lite”. It didn’t have VIM or GIT!

@JoshuaACNewman The power available to USB devices is not unlimited (MAX 1.6A)
What are all the USB devices you have connected to this Pi, and how much current do they draw?
If you need more than that, time for a powered USB hub.
Hey, has anyone had issues with a #raspberrypi that can’t see USB devices other than a keyboard? I couldn’t get a touchscreen to work, but then I tried another touchscreen and a Ploopy and they don’t show in lsusb either.
Related? I’m getting undervolt/overcurrent warnings, despite having two 35W power supplies running Pi and monitor.
Mouse on USB is suuuper slow but fine on Bluetooth.
