In case this helps prevent anyone else tearing their hair out - if you're trying to run an image on a #RaspberryPi 3 and you're getting four long seven short flashes (which the official documentation helpfully explains as "Power Failure Type B"), you might actually need to update the Pi firmware supplied by that image. If you're flashing your Pi's microSD card from Windows, you can manually mount the FAT partition and copy the files to it.

Thinking of getting a new raspberry pi. Should I get a model 4 or 5? The 4 would still work with my existing USB power adapter and it has an audio jack that I might wanna use. Since I crashed my server OS, I have to move. Since my last developments, PHP got upgrades as well as CodeIgniter did. Of course, as always in web development, both bring breaking changes I have to handle now, before moving.
Currently I'm limited to notepad and confronted with my technical debts at its worst. They aged well and I exactly know, why they are there:
Date and Time simply suck in web (PHP, JS). That's it.
