Wait, WHAT? #JavaScript does not have maxsplit like #Python does?

> 'a/b/c/d'.split('/', 1)
[ "a" ]
> 'a/b/c/d'.split('/', 2)
[ "a", "b" ]

Who... who came up with this crap? Why would ever need this if you can just slice the resulting array? Why can't I get a proper head/tail? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Snakes in the Castle: Inside the Walls of Python-Driven CastleLoader Delivery

The Blackpoint SOC recently responded to an incident initiated through the tried-and-true ClickFix technique; a social engineering method consistently leveraged across numerous campaigns this past year. These lures convince users to press Win + R to open the Windows Run dialog box, then enter a command presented as a harmless โ€œhuman verificationโ€ step or similar prompt. This pattern has been repeatedly used to deploy everything from information stealers to remote access trojans (RATs), and it has also become one of the primary delivery vectors for a newer loader family known as CastleLoader.

Cory Doctorow in "Enshittification" explains that all computers are universal machines and they can run any programs. The issue is only in big monopolists (incl. FAAMG) which lock the market by making restrictions - through their marketplaces, I.P. law, etc.

Python's PYPI is something opposite - it's like the marketplace which allows to run its packages on any platform. No restrictions - just freedom.

On today we learn how to write BASIC code on a humble Arduino Uno. To be specific, a Cytron Maker Uno becuase it has built-in LEDS that we can use to create a quick light sequence.
was my first programming language, way back on the Commodore 16, but it wasn't until I learnt that I appreciated and understood the language.
