Does your #Python #Pandas column contain repeated strings? Turn it into a 'category' series (like an enum) to save memory:
df['c'].memory_usage() # 124,957,472
df['c'] = (df['c'].astype('category'))
df['c'].memory_usage() # 12,496,555
That's right โ 90% less memory!

In asyncio Python, how would you implement the following HTTP client:
You have an initial quota of 300 HTTP requests. Every second, it gets replenished by 5, up to the maximum of 300. You can make as many requests as you want, but if your quota is exhausted, calls will block until it's been replenished. Waiting calls will get fulfilled in a FIFO fashion.
I know there's asyncio.Semaphore, but it's not designed for dynamically fluctuating limits over time.

Is it just me, or are LLMs starting to produce python code with type hints for EVERYTHING? Call me lazy or a bad programmer, but I don't use type hints so aggressively.
When using llm generated code, do you "clean it up" to match your style, or leave it all in there?
