I confess I've never actually used getoutput() (or, if ever, not for many many years)... these days I would just use subprocess.check_output() or subprocess.run() instead, and those do offer the flexibility of passing a list

Sorry but, can we or can we not pass a list of args to `subprocess.getoutput()`?? If I pass it a list, it fails with a "usage: git ..." message, while it works fine when I pass it the same command as a string. Is my env broken or something?

- with Rust-on-bottom-Python-on-top faction to reach the logical end (of "#RustyPython" with #Python being a thinnest of the think wrapper), possibly taking rest of existing software with it;
- "AI"-with-Python faction could produce software unable to run on "regular" [CG]PU of a reasonable laptop.
So all may not be bad in the long run.
