Did some work on the photo importer script again. #python
Also tried #kdeconnect to send the photos from my phone to PC. Dammmmnnnn! That was *fast* compared to the cloud storage snail's-pace upload nonsense. And unlike Dropbox this has unlimited device seats! You know, because it doesn't dance to the tune of cloud service CEOs!

Sunday hobby project: made a bingo card creator. It’s still quite crude but already works, so the rest is polishing, adding configurability, improving the looks of the result, etc.
The hardest part was stopping noodling with a module that already worked (because I wanted to make it prettier). 😀

It looks like loading all the road and paths in Great Britain from #OpenStreetMap into as single #GeoPandas dataframe wasn't the smartest idea I had this weekend.
Although kudos to #osmnx for allowing me to even be able to get anywhere near doing something so daft.

I am working on writing a GUI for editing edge-representation #Hypergraphs Anyone played with drawing these? I have a couple of ways of approaching this, and would like to choose something useful and useable beyond just my rather narrow experience and application.
I am writing in #Python using #pyside6 and can (within reason!) make it do what is best for editing and thinking.
Any links/ references/ resources/ boosts welcome.

I usually sabotage my own learning process for #rust by not finding any good reason to learn it because of previous knowledge in #python, #nim and #golang.
So... Any good ideas to do in #rust that could be convincing enough to stick to it, without telling myself... I can do this in #python, #nim, #golang? (Other than saying writing a kernel or a bootloader)
Could even be a concept that is generally applicable (like I did for #commonlisp and #haskell).
