@jake_stevens_haas Great question! It's still early day for me so you may actually be further ahead than I. My original ambition was to make a native #GNOME #GTK screenwriting app and quickly realized following Blender's #documentation for making Add-ons in #python was a more attainable goal.
Before that, I was learning Builder & they do have docs on creating your own extensions: https://builder.readthedocs.io/plugins/creating.html
Perhaps that's a good place to start for seeing what ext's are already out there.
