My brother and I took my mother to Worthing for a wonderful weekend away shortly before she passed away. I want to remember the love and beauty of that weekend
This photo concludes this project which has taken me 14 months to complete. I've felt raw and vulnerable at times but it's been so worthwhile.
Framing the loss of my mum in the gratitude and love we shared that weekend has helped so much in coming to terms with what happened. I feel so much different to other experiences of grief where anger (a normal human reaction to grief) consumed me.

Really liking the 'Collections' feature on Pixelfed. I imagine it will get more polished in the future, and I wish it wasn't web-only for the time being and adding older pics was easier, but really loving the end result of having a bunch of specific pics in one place.
