Hikanzakura season in Okinawa 🌸
Three frames from Japan's earliest cherry blossom bloom. Hikanzakura (Prunus campanulata) flowers are deeper and richer than mainland sakura varieties, bell-shaped, vivid pink, blooming from January into February. The third shot features a Mejiro (Japanese White-eye) mid-flight between clusters, drawn in by the nectar.

Welp, I've made one last backup of the stuff for the VPS that was running my personal instance of Pixelfed, and it's now powered off.
I've made a snapshot of it as well and will be deleting the VPS in a couple of days.
Given the seemingly lack of a good full export/backup with images for Pixelfed, I don't think I'll be joining another instance.
