Eu tinha fotos de trabalho, nos projetos de extensão em que participo, em uma instância do #Pixelfed. Decidi trocar de instância, mas esse serviço não tem suporte para a migração. Usando o ótimo texto do @dunossauro consegui montar uma solução semi automática para migrar todos os posts da instância velha para a nova. Foram 57 posts com 146 fotos e 1 vídeo.
Essa migração levou todos os arquivos de mídia (com texto alternativo) e todo os posts, com um comentário indicando a data original da postagem. Fiz isso em 3h. Se fosse fazer tudo na mão, não faria.
(Bem que o pixelfed podia disponibilizar uma API documentada, né?)

Pixelfed art seems more suitable for me, certainly the type of page I feel more comfortable to work on.
