The whole Pixelfed thing would be a lot easier if the federation worked properly. If it did, I wouldn't need a pixelfed account at all.

If this reliably pulled in all the images I post here, I'd be happy, and Pixelfed would be a real option for me.

Day 2 with Pixelfed and I am already annoyed. Wrote alt texts for two images in two languages and tried to save. The button was cut off and trying to hit it closed the window. Everything gone. Okay, again. Wrote text and alt texts again. Then the app crashed while posting. Everything gone again. Pixelfed really is one big bug when I try to use it.

Tag 2 mit Pixelfed und ich bin genervt: Alt-Texte für zwei Bilder in zwei Sprachen geschrieben. Der Button passt nichts ins Bild und bei dem Versuch den zu treffen, alles zugemacht. Texte weg. Okay, neu. Neue Alt-Texte und Beschreibung und abgeschickt. Beim Posten stürzte die App ab. Alles weg. Pixelfed ist echt ein einziger Bug, wenn ich es benutze.

@gedankenstuecke @timbray Same here. After being with #Pixelfed from quite the beginning, I discovered that migrating between PF-instances still doesn't work. Screwed up one instance after trying to migrate and went to @vernissage completely: Less hazy announcements, great basis and steady and calm development.
Was hard to relinquish Pixelfed after those years but feels definitely better now.
