Local legend has it that this place is haunted. A river flows beside it, where during colonial times in 1924, many tea plantation workers, including a few British officers, drowned in a flood. Whether the stories are true or not, they certainly add to the overall experience. I do believe in the possibility of the British turning into ghosts though .

If you have a Pixelfed account and want to receive DMs from anyone, you have to switch on the option:
1. Go to Account Settings
2. Go to Privacy
3. Tick the box marked "Receive Direct Messages from Anyone"
4. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen
After you've done this, anyone will be able to DM you on Pixelfed.
(If you don't do this, only accounts you follow will be able to DM you.)
