Zu Testzwecken läuft PixelFed jetzt erst einmal auf einem lokalen Rechner auf der Instanz https://pixelfed.pixelgalaxy.net
Sobald ein geeigneter VPS verfügbar ist, werde ich die Instanz auf der Hauptdomain installieren. Der Installationsprozess mit YunoHost war relativ einfach. Der Teufel liegt aber wie so oft im Detail. Jetzt läuft es erst einmal.

Wow, Pixelfed is so great tonight! 🎉🎄 ... 🥳
A few days ago, I installed these "wheels," which are actually pulleys, onto my vertical support guides (see second image), and now they just roll across the rail instead of metal on metal grinding nearly bringing all horizontal motion to a halt, making working more difficult than necessary — and I still have a lot more to do.
When I first started using these vertical support guides, they slid without wheels almost without friction, aluminum angle on aluminum angle. But after a few weeks, it became evident that the metal was grinding into itself more and more, even after multiple applications of beeswax.
I could not use oil safely without the risk of it migrating to the painting surface, so I found these pulleys and converted the aluminum angle sliding device to a railway.
This situation is all super hilarious to me, given the circumstances. But this is what artists do. 😎
