Am I right by assuming that pixelfed.social is at least partly relying AMS cloud services? (server seems down now & was some months ago too when AMS was down). If so, can anyone recommend a server that doesn’t? Any experience with migration process from one pixelfed server to another?

Pixelfed is in my opinion hugely underrated. It has the feeling of first year Instagram. People in the trad arts tags are nice, there aren't many, but they are so nice. Everyone is just so nice. Everything has this wonderful sense of lightness there. I'm stunned more visual artists don't use Pixelfed, I'm sure they'd enjoy it immensely, if they gave it a chance. I don't even care if my art posts get three likes or whatever. It's just nice to be there. Brain feel good.
