Pixelfed is bloated with too much JavaScript. A photo sharing website is fundamentally broken if it requires JavaScript to display images.

Not sure how to triangulate on the problem, but for the last two days I've not been able to upload images to pixelfed.art from my phone.
Yesterday's sketch had to wait for me to turn on the laptop and use that instead.
Anyone having similar issues?
(I'm using Tusky at present)
