Inhaltswarnung:Ich vergleiche beide Plattformen und erkläre, was mich dazu brachte, Pixelfed statt Instagram zu verwenden.
@blogangela Guter Vergleich mal aus einem anderen Blickfeld. Für mich steht das Bild im Vordergrund, keine Werbung oder sonstiger Druck durch US-BigTech. Auch Algorithmen sind mir egal. Wer sich meine gezeigten Bilder mit etwas erklärenden Text ansehen möchte, der/die sorgen für Reichweite. #Pixelfed ist für mich die ruhige und entspannte Plattform um #Bilder zu zeigen und mir anzusehen. Und da mir meine Instanz gut gefällt, lass ich auch mal ein Taler da. Immerhin finanziert sich das komplette Fediverse aus #Spenden, da sollte das auch zum guten Ton gehören.
