Pixelfed federation support needs work.
I'm on it, and working on a major refactor based on the Loops ActivityPub architecture.
This will solve many problems, like missing remote replies.

A quaint, typically North German outdoor display shows a humorous “Germanic weather stone” mounted beneath a small wooden roof. Suspended on a rope, the stone acts as a tongue-in-cheek weather indicator.
