Trying to figure out a way to keep on top of multiple different AI integrations across a few projects - we use Gemini and openai depending on context.
Model upgrades look like they're going to be an annual chore. Response parsing can be messy. Error handling by existing libraries is a bit meh.
Perhaps we need a shared library that holds all the prompts and parsing etc. it'd at least make testing easier.
