@mandrasch is not a good moment to announce a switch to Laravel.

The new Laravel Forge looking nice! The only problem is it's not mobile friendly yet 🤔

Regardless congrats to the team!

Anyone here familiar with #linux #kernel memory accounting and #systemd memory use reports?

Is there an explanation for why the "Tasks state" table here (reporting memory use in terms of page count aka 4kB units) appears to imply that #PHP (php8.4-fpm) was using the most memory?

https://paste.debian.net/1398917/

The systemd log line at the end states that #Nginx peaked with 49.8G RAM and 25.9G swap use, and I believe that is (sort of) the truth. (I suspect that a third-party module of Nginx is causing extreme memory fragmentation or the like. Not sure if an outright leak.)

The PHP-FPM service is still running without issues days after the events seen in this log snippet (which culminated in Nginx dying) and systemd reports that the all-time peak mem use of this service has been 13.9G RAM and 3.9G swap.

Something is way out of line between the reporting of the kernel and the reporting of systemd. I believe systemd gets its data from the kernel's cgroups2 system, so perhaps the inconsistency in reporting is within the kernel itself.

I recently checked out github.com/samuelreichor/craft by Samuel Reichör again.

It's a clever combination of #Nuxt and #CraftCMS github.com/samuelreichor/craft via his new Query API plugin plugins.craftcms.com/query-api .

It's an interesting, robust and minimal stack for people who love Nuxt/etc. and don't want to code in twig (or via graphql), but still want to get the benefits of the awesome and sophisticated content management system Craft CMS. 🚀 #php #nuxtjs
