🔮 This is a preview release, which adds support for PHP 8.5.
🗺️ The biggest feature is Native Path Mapping, which allows you to map directories, files, and lines when PHP executes a file, to a location where you would edit it.

Is it just me, or is javascript/typescript development 80% discussing and choosing frameworks and libraries, complex build and CI solutions, different package managers, coding conventions etc, and just 20% actual developing code?
In PHP it's the opposite; there's only a few frameworks, which all have been around for ages. There's only one package manager, no build stage needed, deployment is easy. So you can just concentrate on creating good code.

Ich frage mich ja, ob es da draußen Leute gibt, die uralte Debian- oder Ubuntu-Releases forken und eigenmächtig weiterpflegen. Inklusive Zeug wie Linux 2.6, LILO, Python 2, PHP 5, Gtk+2, Qt3, sogar Firefox (oder Iceweasel oder GNU Icecat oder was auch immer) aus einer Zeit, als es noch gut war und bevor Mozilla scheiße war, und so.
Motivation dahinter: je älter, desto stabiler.

Laravel Boost's MCP server assumes it will be run via your host machine, but what if your project uses Docker containers?
