Have been using #PHPUnit for unit testing on my code for a while, working entirely from the documentation - which is very good. But I just looked at the tests on another code base (not mine) and OMG, I have been so inefficient with my tests! Really should have been looking at other people's code before I headed off into the unknown.
I test things in a really round-about way, but I have had my eyes opened to more direct and simpler mechanisms of mocking and bunching tests together.

Bit of fun with #softwaredev fun today!
Spend about an hour each day emailing new customers. These emails vary depending on the options they choose on signup. Today I decided to make a little bot that looks at our new signups, checks meta and writes and sends these emails with links to esign and invoices attached where needed. 3 hours invested for roughly 21 hours each month saved 🤯
On top of this I've got labels down from manual ordering to 1 click on our dash
