I chose Peertube.wtf partly because IIRC it has a policy of federating with, & enabling search across, as many Peertube instances as possible. Apparently many other instances are quite isolated.

I have been testing #peertube @MakerTube . Can someone explain what the whole P2P deal is regarding IPs of the viewers being potentially seen by others?
I was considering using it for embedding videos on my website (instead of relying on "a certain google product") but I am concerned about causing potential privacy risks for my viewers.
What's the privacy for a user seeing an embed hosted on YT vs an embed hosted on Peertube?
