As I am backing up a #peertube server and look at the size of some if the videos I think to my self:
The greatest lie that #youtube ever sold us was that: disk space is free.
That it is ok to upload 1GB plus videos of 7 min of content, where you can count the number of facial hairs on a person's face just because...
Disk space is not free nor cheap. And the that lie that #youtube promoted; that it is. May actually be one of the biggest problems in adopting #peertube.

Ik heb voor nu dus gekozen voor YouTube (ja #BigTech) en dat was stiekem best een lastige keuze.
Ik weet dat sommigen van jullie liever #PeerTube gebruiken. Ik snap het, maar aan iedere keuze zitten gevolgen. Aangezien ik van open en eerlijk ben, ga ik daar ook een filmpje over maken!
Goed om te weten: als het goed gaat met filmen en de boel loopt, dan sluit ik publicatie op PeerTube zeker niet uit.
