I'm having a hell of a time trying to upload videos to #peerTube. The upload either hangs after a few percent transferred or finishes then will not transcode properly. But then sometimes exactly the same file works fine! Tried in many browser/os combinations. The advice is to clear the browser cache but I'm finding this has no effect. What else can I try?

So I've spun up a #peertube instance for our new wormhole corp at https://peertube.10mn.space .
So far only Zeros has been testing it for me – check out his vids! I wonder if I should open this for general availability in our little corp, or if this is only going to end in (IT-admin) tears…

I ended up downgrading the version of nodejs on my #peertube server, mainly because the repo I was using to pull node v22 from was returning strange keyring errors, so I removed it. I did not add that repository myself, but rather it was included when I spun up the original peertube instance from my hosting provider.
On the one hand, using the pre-baked server setup saved me a bunch of time originally, but I believe it did add more work for me over the longer term.
