So now that I'm close to having moved all public instances to the new machine, only one piece of software remains on the old ThinkCentre: #Peertube.
My current installation via Yunohost is up-to-date, but there seems to be no way to backup and restore it, even on the same server.
The issues is already posted on Github, with no solution in sight.
Since I only have one video up so far, I guess I will bite the bullet and just start fresh, this time going the Way of the Docker on a NAS.

Ich habe gerade diesen Beitrag gesehen https://chaos.social/@untertiteleuse/115576180388208167 und gedacht "Ach, schau an - Vimeo existiert noch. Vielleicht wäre das eine Option zu #Peertube, die ja nicht so recht zu Potte kommen."
Und dann habe ich gesehen, dass Vimeo zu Bending Spoons gehört, das Unternehmen, was gerade #Komoot geschlachtet hat.
Also warte ich doch lieber, dass @peertube irgendwann mal wirklich nutzerfreundlich wird, so dass man beispielsweise den mobilen Client wirklich nutzen kann und will.

On a une question à propos du fonctionnement du filtre "populaire" quand on trie les vidéos.
Il semble fonctionner de manière plus subtil que "les vidéos les plus vues en premier", car par exemple ici il ne change absolument pas l'ordre des vidéos : https://videos.pair2jeux.tube/a/grenier_des_joueurs/videos?sort=-hot
Ici il change l'ordre de 2-3 premières vidéos, sans plus : https://tube.lacaveatonton.ovh/c/sfinformatique/videos
Il semble donc y avoir une pondération. Sur un ratio âge/vues ? Je suis preneur de détails 😊

You can follow these servers to fill your PeerTube site with good videos without it using up any of your server's storage space (the videos themselves remain on their hosting servers).

So! I have made my PeerTube server publicly accessible. It's called PneumaNode, a multi-pun where "pneuma" is using the definition of "creative spirit" and "node" refers to the federation aspect. There's another pun in "NUMA node".
