¿Sabían que el primer video publicado en la historia de PeerTube, la plataforma descentralizada del Fediverso, no fue una prueba técnica de código, sino una pequeña pieza de animación francesa cargada de simbolismo sobre el conocimiento libre?
Se trata de un fragmento de "Big Buck Bunny", un cortometraje de código abierto creado por la Fundación Blender. Fue subido en 2017 por los desarrolladores de Framasoft, la organización detrás del proyecto, para demostrar la viabilidad de la tecnología peer-to-peer (P2P). La elección no fue casualidad: al ser un video bajo licencia Creative Commons, representaba perfectamente la filosofía de libertad y colaboración que PeerTube buscaba instaurar frente a los modelos centralizados.
La publicación técnica original buscaba probar cómo el navegador podía distribuir la carga del video entre los usuarios que lo estaban viendo simultáneamente, utilizando el protocolo WebTorrent. Este hito marcó el inicio de una arquitectura donde cada espectador se convierte, a su vez, en un pequeño servidor que ayuda a compartir el contenido, eliminando la dependencia de una única gran infraestructura corporativa.

OSE @opensource_experts (là où je travaille) va lancer son instance #Peertube et du coup je me demande s'il existe ou non un "Guide peertube pour les entreprises" qui explique comment faire pour paramétrer et avoir une vitrine "corporate", avec affichage /sélection des vidéos de l'écosystème etc. N'afficher que des vidéos des abonnements correspondants à une ligne éditoriale. Quelqu'un saurait me dire ?
