#PeerTube needs better Fedi integration. Like, why do I have to verify a request for an account via email? Why not via the Fedi?
And why can't you post to the Fedi like #Owncast does?

Well, so far my MakerTube account is not operating the way I thought it would. I can find it by typing my name into the Mastodon search box, but it says there are no posts, even though I have one video uploaded. I selected the "open original page", which takes me to MakerTube, where I see the video. But there's no "boost" button. Do I need to copy the URL into a Mastodon post? That doesn't seem very "federated".

Is anyone else getting a certificate error for the #PeerTube server Vidèos sur Parleur?
Tried to view on different devices and it is refusing. Have also tried the PeerTube app with similar results.
