Which is better style for a report/essay video? To label it with the date you record? Or to use the date you plan to publish it?
I've called my videos a "video log", so I use the actual date I'm recording them. Seems more honest, and it clarifies any contemporary news references (though I make few).
But I waffle on this. And also I am thinking of publishing more subject-focused videos, rather than just reports.
Does it matter what kind of video it is? E.g. "record date for log, publish date for essay".

This time-lapse captures the creation of 'The_Cost_Of_Living' that portrays a young figure facing the harsh realization that he/she is utterly alone. The hybrid style of drawing, kind of realism, and disconnected cyborg lines hints at a dystopian reality where people must sell parts of their bodies to survive simply because they cannot rely on anyone else. @_elena #YouTube has become more and more problematic throwing error messages for all sorts of reasons. Most things i watch are there given the sheer amount and variety of content vs. Peertube.
I use #FreeTube and at times have to change #VPN connections in order to watch videos, at times some will only open in a browser.
It's definitely a hot mess. I wish #Peertube were a viable alternative for more than just #foss stuff but alas, it's not even close for most of what people watch/want.
