Lying motionless as a breathless lifeless corpse often does, the old man drags himself out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of thorny glass and steel, for rigamortis has his body stiff and after a night of sleepless pain, he scrapes his body across the floor unable to yet see as the classical music plays, with his hands trembling he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator, as the coffee begins to perch he shuffles off to the toilet, his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, in the mirror a man blankly stares into the abyss, his hair and beard disheveled, struggling he manages to tame them a tad with his brush, stumbling back to his bed he struggles to pull on his socks and pants, he pours a cup of coffee and gently packs scraps of tobacco into his pipe, he opens the door and steps outside, the morning is dark mild and moist, as the world begins to wake, not one soul takes notice of the enduring plight the old man has to face yet another day;

#Wero ist aber anders als #Paypal. Und ob die den Vergleich je selbst gemacht haben, bezweifle ich.
Wero betreibt für die Teilnehmenden keine eigenen Guthabenkonten (wie z. B. Paypal) sondern benötigt die Kooperation mit der jeweiligen Bank. Deshalb dauert das Herausgehen mit "wir haben ein Produkt" etwas länger.
Wero an sich ist schon einsatzbereit ("fertig" sicher noch nicht). Was noch ausbaufähig ist, ist das Ökosystem drumherum.

Immer nur davon zu reden, dass wir von #Paypal weg wollen, ist billig.
Es erfordert auch mal praktischen Einsatz!

@buersten #Wero hat gerade das Problem, dass Zahlungsdienstleister (inkl. meine Bank 😬) warten, ob's genug Nutzer (Händler + Käufer) gibt.
Nutzer warten dagegen darauf, dass es passende Angebote gibt und jammern, dass Wero noch nicht so wie #Paypal ist.
Aber wenn wir alle nur dasitzen und warten und jammern, dann wird Wero auch nichts werden.
Ich trete schon regelmäßig meiner Bank auf die Füße und wenn bei dir wenigstens ein Anbieter was hat, warum nicht mit dem mal starten?

I am in far more pain than any corporeal should ever experience, yet nearly every day of my existence I am forced to endure pain at levels that defy definition, today it is so bad, that if I get up and try to move around within a few minutes im ready to pass out, and my bed is of no help, as it is a sunken unsupportive device of torture, and I have no room for couch nor recliner, so really in a bit of a pain filled hell right now;
I have not been feeling that great recently, I mean I can't remember when I actually felt good, but between the incredibly poor sleep, horbile poverty diet, the constant pain, I have just really felt run down more than usual, what energy I start the day with is often depleted fairly quickly, with very little effort on my part, on top of barely having food to actually eat, over the past month or so my appetite has really plumetited, I am kind of hungry now but between not actually having really anything to eat and how I'm feeling, it's like it really does not matter, the past 2 months I have been trying to some new supplements and vitamins, to make up for the deficiencies and to maybe help some of my inflammation and blood pressure roller coaster, I have had little difference on those fronts, my water intake has stayed the same and my output seems to be ok, but I am having harder and harder time moving and every movement seems labored, my executive cognitive function is declining, it is becoming harder and harder to do simple and basic things, even thinking this out to put it words between my hands struggling to type and actually find the correct words and spelling them right the first time, is a chore, trying to read anything on screen or paper is a battle between blurry and focus the words look like spiraling alien hieroglyphics, anyways, I am really simply not feeling good and I can't exactly describe how I am feeling either I simply lack the function to, I am currently 13 days away from becoming 48, but being disabled and existing in poverty for so long it's more like 13 days until I am 88;
