The morning is dark and cold, as the frozen air moves in the bones shiver in pain, a body riddled with turmoil and a mind that is shrinking as it drifts away, another night where sleep evades the need for rest, stiffen by time the old man drags himself from a sunken bed of torturous evil, with the classical music playing he finds himself stumbling to prepare his coffee his hand shake as measures out the water and grounds with care, draped in is unionsuit underwear he makes his way to the toilet where his hungry bowels sing a rather painful melody, looking in the mirror his hair and beard have seen better days, to tired to even care, shuffling to his bed as he sits to pull on his pants, the holes remind him he has nothing left, struggling to pull on his boots his feet are tired, carefully packing his pipe with scraps of tobacco he fills his cup and pulls on his coat, stumbling outside the biting air a reminder that not a soul in the world really cares;

Heute mein PayPal-Konto gelöscht.
Man soll ja nicht nur andere belehren, sondern auch seine eigenen Lehren leben.
Also habe ich jetzt mein PayPal-Konto geschlossen (und um Datenlöschung gebeten). Ich hatte es in den letzten Jahren sowieso kaum noch genutzt, eigentlich nur für Einkäufe auf #Kleinanzeigen, weil die Verkäufer das so wollen.
Und für die monatliche Spende an die Mastodon-Instanz. Da wird alternativ #LiberaPay genannt (welches dann wieder über #PayPal abrechnet) und #Patreon. Wer sucht, findet aber auch eine SEPA.
Ich verstehe den Hype über #Wero aber auch #paypal nicht.
Jeder, naja fast, bezahlt schon für sein Konto.
Mit #Wero werden extra Gebühren erhoben.
Das ist doch zum Fenster herausgeschmissenes 💰
Zumal jeder klagt das alles teurer wird.
Warum also nicht das normale Konto nutzen.
Funktioniert hier bestens.

Seit 2024 bauen #Sparkassen und #Banken in Deutschland, Frankreich und den #BeNeLux-Staaten eine #digitales #Bezahlsystem auf, mit dem man zunächst nur Geld von Person zu Person übertragen konnte. Seit Kurzem kann man damit auch Online bezahlen. #Eventim war wohl der erste Dienstleister, der Zahlungen mit #Wero akzeptiert.
